The Resonant You
I want to share with you what I believe resonance is.
It came to me through music. The idea that what makes a piece of music complete isn't any single note, it's the relationship between all of them. The melody, the rhythm, the pauses. The way everything belongs together and creates something that none of the parts could create alone.
That is what I believe we are.
We are made of many notes. The person we were, shaped by every experience, every season, every version of ourselves we've already lived. The person we are right now, present and breathing and navigating the beautiful complexity of an ordinary day. And the person we are becoming, following our intuition and coming home to ourselves more and more often.
When these parts are in conflict, when we're struggling with our past, disconnected from our present, or afraid of our future, life feels heavy and dissonant. Like something important is missing and we can’t quite name it.
The Resonance Signal has three frequencies. Values — the ground note of who you are, the root frequency everything else is measured against. Intuition — the internal intelligence that vibrates before the mind translates it, transmitting quietly and faithfully your whole life. Self-Authority — the decision to trust what you hear, act on it, learn from it, and move forward. Resonance made visible.
When these frequencies are in alignment, when Past You, Present You, and Future You are all moving in the same direction, guided by The Resonance Signal, something shifts. The decisions get easier. The path feels more solid. You move through your life with a groundedness that other people can feel before you even speak.
Your inner world is finally in sync with how you’re walking through your outer world.
Resonance isn't a destination you arrive at once and stay. It's a practice. A re-tuning.
Something you choose, again and again, in the small quiet moments as much as the big ones.
This week I want to offer you one small practice. Pause for a moment today, and think about an event or experience in your life when you felt most like yourself. When you were vibrating at your truest frequency in full resonance. Ask yourself:
What was true during that moment that’s also true now?
Over these past four weeks we've been moving through the Coming Home to Yourself arc. Week 1: Arriving Into Presence / Week 2: Listening in Stillness / Week 3: Self Authority Isn’t Certainty. And now, integrating all 3 in service of the Resonant You.
This week's meditation, Finding Your Inner Resonance, is an invitation to feel all of you, at once, in one place.
How do you know when you’re resonating at your truest frequency? When something just.feels.right. I’d love to hear from you. I read and respond to every email I receive.
With warmth & gratitude,
